She was awarded her RAD Advanced 2 Certificate with Distinction and spent summers training with Canada's National Ballet School and Ballet Austin. At the age of 16, she was accepted to the Joffrey Ballet School Trainee Division in New York City where she was then offered a position with the Joffrey Concert Group. Rachel then moved to San Francisco after being accepted to the prestigious 2-year Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program under the direction of Karah Abiog.

Rachel now lives in NYC and is a professional dancer working with several New York City based choreographers. Most recently touring with Nicole Colbert Dance, and Metanoia Dance, in addition to premiering her own choreographic works on stages across the US and Canada. Most recently, she has presented work at New York’s Dixon Place and Open Jar Studios, as well as Brooklyn’s Center for Performance Research. In addition to stage work, Rachel has also choreographed, directed, produced and performed in two works made for the screen- most recently Perceptions at Martha Graham Dance Company and Refuge, which went on to be one of five International dance films to be selected for T2 Dance Company’s Versatility Dance Festival. She has been featured in Dance Magazine, Dance Teacher Magazine and DanceSpirit Magazine for her performing and choreographic endeavors. Up next, Rachel will continue her choreographic projects in New York and is set to choreograph renowned jazz singer Allegra Levy’s upcoming national tour.
